Before you shop Walmart with coupons, here’s some information on its policy:

Walmart accepts newspaper, printable, and other manufacturer coupons. Walmart has everyday low prices as well as roll back prices. Walmart price matches: bring in the competitor ad to your store. Walmart accepts competitor coupons: bring in competing store coupons to your store. Walmart does not run many promotions or release a weekly grocery ad on a regular basis. Prices and sales tend to vary greatly by region. Walmart does not have consistent enforcement of any portion of its coupon policy. Some shoppers have a great experience at Walmart while others have quite the opposite. Walmart does not allow more than one coupon of any kind for one item.

You may not use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon together. *THE SECRET* Combine coupons with Walmart rollback prices. Or bring all your store ads and coupons to Walmart and do a scenario like this: Breyers Ice Cream 2 for $5.00 in Walgreens Drugstore weekly ad $1.00/1 Breyers product, printable manufacturer coupon Final Price at Walmart: $1.50 each or Breyer’s Ice Cream 2 for $5.00 in Walgreens Drugstore weekly ad $0.75/1 Breyers product, store coupon from Albertsons grocery ad Final Price at Walmart: $1.75 each Will Walmart accept any competitor coupon? Walmart accepts valid “cents off” coupons from competing stores. “Cents off” means the coupon is worth $0.40 off or $2.00 off, etc. Walmart does not accept competitor coupons for a percentage off. Will Walmart accept a coupon worth more than the product? $1.00 off coupon for $0.97 product?

Walmart should accept the coupon and adjust it down to the value of the item. Can I use a store’s competitor coupon and a manufacturer coupon on one item? No. Walmart’s policy states one coupon per item. In this case, you will need to choose one of the two coupons. If you have problems with policy, call 1.800. Walmart while still in the store.

Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off) Free merchandise (or manufacturer’s Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons Store coupons Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons Internet coupons Soft drink container caps The following are guidelines and limits: Walmart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase. Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Walmart will not accept expired coupons. Internet coupons should be legible and say “Manufacturer Coupon.” There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code. Only one coupon per item is permitted. Use of forty or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager. Walmart Price Matching Our goal is always to be the low price leader in every community where we operate. Our customers trust us to have everyday low prices…there’s no need for “special sales.” Our unbeatable promise: Store managers make the final decision in always taking care of our customers, but we do have guidelines for matching our competition. We do honor “Preferred Shopping Card” advertised prices. Must be like items, be advertised, and require a competitor’s shopping card, for the discount to apply. We do not honor advertisements that require a purchase in order to receive the advertised price or free product. We do not honor “Buy One / Get One Free” advertisements. We do not honor double or triple coupons or percent off advertisements. We do not honor other retailers’ “Misprinted” advertised prices. We do not honor Internet Pricing. We do not honor competitor advertisements from outside of the store or Club’s local trade territory.
